Very encouraging. I am taken back to a little church in Salem Il as a little boy standing next to my Mom and listening to her sing this refrain with the others: “I will cherish the old rugged cross, till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, and exchange it some day for a crown”.
Somebody should do a CD medley of the old hymns, composed in a fresh new way. I’ll bet it would sell.

Some people have done that actually, and I’m sure they’ve made pretty good money on it!
