I’m Thankful.
I’m Thankful…
For the Lord, and His patient and gentle pursuit of me, even when I look the other way and lean on my own understanding.
For my husband. How he loves me, provides for me, makes me laugh, encourages me to be the best “me” I can be, and still makes my heart skip a beat.
For my family- parents who listen, understand, challenge, inspire, and most of all, love me unconditionally.
For in-laws who have taken me in as a daughter and a sister, given generously in so many ways, and made me feel like a cherished member of the family.
For friends who will always be there, no matter what. Who aren’t afraid to tell me the truth, and who are always ready to enjoy life together, even in the small things- who make my life so rich from the depth of their wisdom, passion and insight, and who put up with all my quirks.
For a community of believers that continually lift me up, make me feel like I’m part of something bigger than myself, and give my life purpose and meaning.
For a wonderful job that allows me to be part of seeing my city transformed, and people’s lives changed. To have the privilege of working with humble and amazingly talented people who are committed to advancing God’s kingdom through the message of love, hope and reconciliation in Christ.
For the authors who write the books that make me think, ask questions, and spurn me on to right living and good works.
For all the blessings that God has poured out on me, I am so grateful. I wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving, and I pray that you will all stop to remember the many reasons that you have to give thanks this season.

Absolutely wonderful! Thanks for sharing. We all have so much to be thankful for.
What a list!
I am thankful that I have enough to eat and a family that loves me.
It makes me so happy when I hear other girls who adore their in-laws.
