Bumper Sticker Love- Revisited

November 13, 2008

I posted this blog a while back, about an idea that I had to create “Alt Christian” bumper stickers and other paraphernalia. Well, I basically just locked the idea away for another time, and hadn’t thought about it in a while. As I was getting out of the shower the other morning, it came back to me all of a sudden. “I could really do this!” I thought to myself. I immediately thought of a good friend of mine who is an amazing designer (check out her site here), and talked to her that night about designing a few things, just as a start.

She read my ideas and was ready to go! We talked about several ideas not only for bumper stickers, but t-shirts, mugs, and handbags (all eco-friendly printing and materials of course!) We also talked about giving a percentage of everything we sell to a poverty-fighting charity. We had so much fun brainstorming and dreaming! So here is the first design that she put together. Let me know what you think!

Nice, can I get a WWJE rubber band to wear on my wrist?

I would love to say YES! But at this point we are still working on what products to put the slogans on, like tote bags or t-shirts (and of course bumper stickers) :) But thanks so much for the interest and I will definitely keep you posted!

“What would Jesus eat” will be an instant sensation and a best seller, I humbly predict. It may have an appeal to secular environmentalists, vegans and a wide assortment of dieticians who are often searching for a religious theme to promote their cause, but simply aren’t bold enough to use the name of the Savior. This bumper sticker will initially cause them a fitful dilemma because they won’t know if its promoting Christianity or healthy eating. At last, they will recognize the synergistic power of such a message and you will become millionaires in the bumper sticker business…(I humbly predict)

    Why thanks Cincinnati Bob! ;)
That is very helpful insight, and will hopefully help keep us on track with this creative process. You don’t just humbly predict, you PROPHESY!! ha!
